Weekly Support Meetings

Building Connections and Creating a Community

All Paths Weekly Support Meetings

All Paths offers weekly support meetings designed to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals on their recovery journey. These meetings foster connection, offer encouragement, and equip participants with tools and strategies to navigate challenges. Our meetings are not overly structured. We have open discussions, and celebrate our members achievements, no matter what pathway they choose.

Activities that go on in a Support Meeting:

  • Introductions & Icebreakers: Each meeting begins with introductions from those in attendance. You can introduce yourself and state your recovery pathway if you like, or can just sit and listen. Members are encouraged to share what works for them, so that others interested in similar pathways know who to reach out to.
  • Check-ins: All who attend are welcome to speak, whether you are new or not! Even though meetings mainly focus on a topic, you can always just speak on where you are at. A pain shared is a pain lessened. The last 10 minutes of each meeting is saved for those that are having difficulties and need support.
  • Topic Discussions: Most meetings have topic discussions. We welcome “double-dipping” and cross talk in a positive, supportive manner. Topics are often chosen by group facilitators, but sometimes topics are chosen as a group, as a way to speak on subjects that have recently been a burden.
  • Non-Judgmental Approach: All Paths meetings are an absolutely non-judgmental space. We accept all pathways, even those opposite our own. You may hear people speak about pathways that don’t work for you, and that’s okay. We recognize that no two pathways are alike, and as long as you are working towards a better life, you deserve love and support.
  • Celebrations: Celebrating accomplishments in early recovery, whether through abstinence other pathways like medication-assisted treatment, is crucial. It reinforces positive behavior, boosts self-esteem, and motivates continued progress. Recognizing these milestones affirms the hard work and commitment invested, fostering resilience and hope for a healthier future. All Paths celebrates these milestones at our meetings.
